1. Quantity Surveying Management Oversee preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for projects. Manage cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve interim valuations, payment applications , and final accounts. Implement and maintain systems for cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting . Provide value engineering advice to improve project profitability. 2. Contracts Administration & Management Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and specifications. Manage the preparation, review, and execution of contract documents . Identify and manage contractual risks, variations, and claims. Resolve contractual disputes in collaboration with the legal team. 3. Team Leadership & Coordination Supervise and mentor a team of quantity surveyors and contract administrators. Allocate resources and workloads effectively. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations . 4. Stakeholder & Client Relations Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Attend project meetings and present commercial updates. Advise senior management on commercial strategy and risk. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, JCT , or relevant contract forms. Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar). Strong analytical and financial acumen. Leadership and team management abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field . Professional membership ( MRICS, AIQS, CIOB , or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 8–16 years ’ experience in QS and contract management, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
