The Wholesale Debt Market Dealer will be responsible for driving execution and liquidity in the corporate bond and debt markets. The role requires managing relationships across institutional counterparties, sourcing and pricing bonds, and ensuring seamless trade execution. The Dealer will operate as a key bridge between institutional sales, operations, and market participants, while actively contributing to revenue growth. Candidates with 35 years of relevant experience in debt markets, inter-bank dealing, or treasury are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Market Development & Counterparty Engagement Onboard and expand relationships with institutional counterparties including banks, mutual funds, insurers, treasuries, brokers, and corporates. Maintain strong ongoing engagement with dealers and suppliers to ensure consistent market access and liquidity. Dealing & Execution Quote and execute transactions across corporate bonds, PSU issuances, and SDLs on the Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) platforms. Source bonds to fulfill institutional demand generated by the sales team and maximize execution efficiency. Negotiate pricing to optimize spreads and improve revenue contribution for the firm. Coordination & Settlement Work closely with institutional sales for trade closures and client servicing. Coordinate with operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades. Market Intelligence & Reporting Monitor yields, spreads, market depth, and secondary flows across issuers and maturities. Share actionable market intelligence with sales, strategy, and management teams to support client coverage and decision-making. Requirements Experience: 35 years of dealing experience in wholesale debt markets, inter-bank trading, treasury, or fixed income desks. Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills with institutional counterparties. Proficiency with NSE/BSE WDM platforms and familiarity with regulatory/trading protocols.
