You are a highly skilled Site Project Manager specializing in Gas & Fire Alarm Systems. You will be responsible for leading the execution and delivery of life safety system projects in various sectors such as data centers, commercial high-rises, hospitals, and industrial facilities. Your role will involve managing the end-to-end project lifecycle of Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, HSSD, and integrated ELV systems, including coordination with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and client teams. To be successful in this role, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent field. Possessing a PMP Certification or Masters Degree is preferred, along with certifications in NFPA, BIS, or equivalent Fire Safety standards. With a minimum of 8 years of experience in Fire Alarm System project execution and management, you should have expertise in design, installation, testing & commissioning of various systems including Fire Alarm Systems, PA/VA Systems, Emergency Evacuation Systems, HSSD, and system integrations with BMS/SCADA/PLC. Exposure to sectors like oil & gas, data centers, commercial buildings, power plants, hospitals, and malls is desirable. Understanding SIL-rated F&G systems and industrial codes would be an added advantage. Key responsibilities include defining project objectives, preparing schedules, coordinating approvals, leading on-site teams, interacting with stakeholders, managing project budgets, implementing safety standards, conducting audits, managing project documentation, and ensuring timely project closure. Role & responsibilities Preparation of shop drawings for fire alarm, Public address voice evacuation, VESDA, central battery and central monitoring system/Preparation of shop drawings for ELV systems like CCTV, Access control, Lighting control, Telephone system, Video intercom, SMATV, IPTV, Master Clock, Queue Management, Nurse Call, Disabled Toilet Alarm, Leak Detection, Intrusion Alarm, Public Address and traffic barrier systems Developing the drawings from IFC to a detailed shop drawing Preparation of schematics and various interface schedules for FA system and central battery system Preparation of VESDA isometric view Preparation of standard installation details for Fire, PAVA, Central battery and central monitoring system Preparation of room coordination drawings and sections related to above systems Responsible for the preparation of PAVA rack detailed drawing and also GA drawings for FA, CBS Responsibilities also include preparation of transmittal, copying, batch plotting and distribution of drawings. How you will do it: Review the project inputs and project intake form shared by the Front desk/Sales. Analyze the requirement and initiate the Kick-off call with Front Desk after getting CoE SFDC Code and time frame. Prepare designs on given floor plans to arrive with the BOQ; in case BOQ is unavailable. Identify potential issues/risks and proactively bring them to the customer's knowledge and help to mitigate the identified risks. Initiate the discussion with OEMs & subcontractors and get the right solution and proposal from OEMs. Analyze the proposal and commercials received from the OEM and verify the same based on the past data and benchmark costing available in the SCM Database. Upon completion of cost comparison, prepare the optimized techno-commercial Costing sheet, Proposal, and Compliance Statements. Once the deliverables are ready, perform Self QC and get the 2nd level QC done by the Delivery Manager. Eventually, submit the deliverables to the Front Desk. Update the SFDC regularly, and complete timesheet & assigned training on time. Actively negotiate and follow up with OEMs and Internal OPS/ Post Sales team to get the right kind of prices for the project. Regularly participate in the Daily Call /Cadence Call with the business team. Actively derive the strategy for increasing the win rate. Align with Organization KPIs such as Quality, OTD, Win rate, Productivity, etc.
