As a Product Technologist at H&M Group, your main role is to educate and develop suppliers in product quality, fit, and technical risk assessment. Your expertise will help grow and develop the business and supplier capability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with suppliers on-site to educate and develop them towards self-reliance in the product flow for your assortment needs. - Collaborate with necessary stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the best product aligned with the business idea. - Contribute towards securing the best product from a customer perspective and execute market development plans and product strategy. - Drive product development and production capability within quality, fit, and consumption optimization. - Conduct advanced technical training and workshops with suppliers, providing feedback on technical pack accuracy and completeness. - Guide and develop suppliers to enhance their skills. **Qualifications Required:** - Technical qualification in garment/textile with 5+ years of experience in Knit/Jersey in womenswear. - Proficiency in pattern-making, sewing, fitting, line setup, and performance optimization. - Familiarity with international test methods and standards (ISO, JIS) is advantageous. - Strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders. - Good computer skills in MS Office, pattern software, 3D fittings, and digital development tools. Your key responsibilities will include developing and digitizing precise patterns for a range of lingerie products such as bras, briefs, and bodysuits. You will need to interpret design briefs accurately and transform them into production-ready patterns. Conducting fittings and making necessary adjustments based on model feedback and design intent will be crucial. Additionally, you will collaborate with factories and suppliers to address any pattern or construction issues that may arise, aiming to uphold consistency in fit and sizing across collections. Your role will also involve ensuring the accuracy and currency of all technical documentation and specifications. To excel in this position, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a pattern technology or garment tech role, with a specific focus on lingerie. Proficiency in pattern software such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, or CLO 3D is essential. A deep understanding of lingerie fit, construction, and fabric behavior, including materials like stretch lace, mesh, elastics, and foam cups, is required.
