Job Title: Retail Sales Executive Location: Patola Saree Showroom ( PATOLA BY NIRMAL SALVI -MUMBAI) Department: Sales / Customer Service Reports To: Showroom Manager ✅ Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service & Sales Greet customers warmly and provide a high standard of service. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Patola sarees based on style, occasion, and budget. Provide product details including fabric, weave, origin (e.g., Rajkot, Patan), and care instructions. Upsell and cross-sell matching. 2. Product Knowledge Maintain in-depth knowledge of various Patola types (single ikat, double ikat, silk quality, motifs). Explain the uniqueness, heritage value, and pricing of handwoven sarees to educate customers. Stay updated on new arrivals, seasonal collections, and weaving trends. 3. Visual Merchandising Assist in the attractive display of sarees in shelves, mannequins, and racks. Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the showroom. Fold and organize sarees properly after customer viewing. 4. Billing & Inventory Support Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for billing and payments. Help with inventory tracking, restocking, and managing stock levels. Handle exchanges and returns as per store policy. 5. Customer Relationship Management Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business. Collect customer feedback and maintain contact details for future promotions. Inform customers of upcoming sales, exhibitions, and new collections. 6. Team Coordination Work collaboratively with other sales staff and report daily sales data. Assist in training new team members about sales techniques and product knowledge. Follow the manager’s instructions and contribute to meeting store targets. 7. Security & Store Policies Ensure the safe handling of high-value sarees. Follow store protocols to prevent theft or damage. Respect traditional handling methods for heritage products. Key Skills Required: Strong communication in English and local language Good knowledge of ethnic fashion and textiles Friendly and persuasive sales personality Attention to detail, especially in fabric and weaving quality Basic computer and billing software literacy
