Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for directing and implementing efficient Patient billing process flow across IP, Day Care, IPD Billing and Financial counseling /recovery cell. Maintain control on cash outstanding by daily dunning process. Ensure accuracy of billing & promptness in patient query handling. Ensure financial counseling of Inpatients and monitor bill v/s estimate variations. Interact with patients/customers and utilize feedback to improve and reinforce satisfaction and meet department/organization satisfaction goals. Ensure timely redressal of all patient/family requests pertaining to service delivery across Inpatient services. Ensure auditing of each bill as per billing policies defined from time to time. Coordinate with the admission desk to make sure that all the admission formalities will be done as per billing related process. All billing related information and audit previous days billing details i.e. open folio, outstanding amount, discount, credit notes, check clearance, ATG in the HIS, negative eateries etc. Make sure that all the interim bills are prepared and send to patient party on daily basis.
