Patient Counselor

*Position Summary:*

The Patient Financial Counselor at Trinity Hospital is responsible for guiding patients through the financial aspects of their surgical procedures, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring a seamless billing process. This role requires effective communication, empathy, and collaboration with medical professionals, nursing staff, and the front desk team.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Financial Counseling:*

- Educate patients on the financial aspects of surgical packages, stay duration, additional charges, and insurance coverage.

- Provide clear explanations of costs, payment options, and any required documentation.

2. *Treatment Coordination:*

- Collaborate with medical specialists, nursing staff, and front desk team to coordinate treatment plans and patient scheduling.

- Ensure patients understand the treatment process and are prepared for their procedures.

3. *Billing Support:*

- Liaise with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and proper documentation.

- Address patient inquiries related to bills, insurance claims, and payment plans.

4. *Feedback Collection:*

- Gather patient feedback and reviews on their experiences to identify areas for improvement.

- Address patient concerns and suggestions with empathy and professionalism.

5. *Patient Advocacy:*

- Serve as a liaison between patients and hospital departments to address any issues or needs that arise.

- Advocate for patients' best interests and ensure they receive quality care.

6. *Ethical Practice:*

- Maintain patient confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and uphold hospital policies.

*Qualifications and Experience:*

- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum [2] years of experience in patient counseling, financial assistance, or customer service in a hospital environment setting. Previous NABH work experience preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
