Job Description

Counsel Patients
: Explain and clarify medical reports and doctors advice to patients in a compassionate and understandable manner.
Daily Coordination
: Work closely with the Consultant and Centre Head for updates on surgical advice and patient conversion tracking.
Checklist Management
: Maintain procedure-specific checklists as instructed by management (e.g., Cataract, FFA, etc.).
Tariff Explanation
: Clearly communicate procedure and investigation costs to patients, ensuring transparency and understanding.
Daily Reporting
: Maintain a daily Counselor Report capturing surgery advice, conversion rates, and individual patient details.
TPA/Insurance Coordination
:

Send pre-authorization requests.
Obtain approvals.
Assist with insurance-related billing processes.

Document Verification
: Cross-verify all documents related to credit billing prior to surgeries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Counselor Summary Maintenance
: Maintain detailed records for all patients who were counseled, including outcomes and next steps.
Tele-calling & Follow-up
:

Conduct follow-up calls with patients.
Maintain tele-calling logs and reports.

Surgery List Preparation
: Prepare and hand over the finalized surgery list to the concerned doctor and Centre Head a day before scheduled surgeries.
Patient Follow-up
: Stay in touch with patients at every stage—from counseling to post-operative care.
