Patient Care Technician

As a Medical Assistant, your role will involve greeting and guiding patients to the consulting room, assisting in preparing patients for examination, and ensuring smooth patient flow by coordinating the appointment schedule. Your responsibilities will include: - Collecting patient history, when necessary, and ensuring that medical records are up-to-date and ready for the doctor's review. - Assisting doctors during diagnostic tests and minor procedures, handing instruments, and managing supplies as needed. - Cleaning and sterilizing instruments between patients, following infection control protocols. - Managing and updating patient files and medical records in both paper and electronic systems. - Assisting in documenting the doctor's notes during consultations. - Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing patients with necessary information about further tests or medications. - Coordinating with other departments as needed. - Educating patients on procedures and medications as instructed by the doctor. - Answering patients" queries and ensuring they understand the next steps for their care. - Providing support for patients who may have anxiety or difficulty understanding the examination process. - Ensuring that the consulting room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and equipment. - Reporting any equipment malfunctions or shortages to the appropriate personnel. - Disposing of biohazardous waste and managing clinical supplies, following safety regulations. - Assisting with patient paperwork and instructions. - Coordinating with billing departments if necessary. - Performing other duties as assigned by the doctor or clinic management. Qualifications required: - Plus-Two, Diploma (Science focused) - FEMALES ARE REQUIRED - Both freshers and experienced are welcome In addition to the job role and responsibilities mentioned above, the job type for this position is full-time and the preferred education qualification is a Diploma.
