    Salary Package:

    35,000 – 50,000 - Negotiable

Role Summary:

At SuperHealth, we aim to redefine hospital experiences through seamless service delivery and a patient-first approach. As a Patient Care Counsellor – Post Consultation Room, you will serve as a key coordinator and compassionate guide for patients post-doctor consultation, ensuring clarity, comfort, and continuity in care.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Consultation Coordination

  • Interpret and transcribe doctor’s prescriptions and notes accurately.
  • Clearly explain medical procedures, tests, and follow-up steps to patients and caregivers.
  • Schedule appointments for diagnostics (e.g., X-ray, USG, CT, MRI), lab investigations, PAC, surgeries, admissions, and referrals.
  • Record follow-up plans and next visit instructions for consultants.

Pharmacy & Medication Handling

  • Clarify medication usage to patients as needed.
  • Handle medicine dispatch within the OPD room and ensure smooth billing coordination.

Insurance and Billing Support

  • Offer basic clarity on cash vs insurance-based treatments.
  • Coordinate with the finance or TPA team for preauthorization or cost estimates as required.

Patient Education & Experience

  • Provide preparation guidance for tests and treatments (e.g., fasting, medication holds).
  • Explain medical procedures and ensure informed consent.
  • Address patient queries or connect them with the relevant department.
  • Take full ownership of ensuring patients understand next steps and follow-up schedules.

Key Traits Required:

  • Empathetic communicator with excellent listening skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Professional, discreet, and respectful of patient confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English and at least one regional language (Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, etc.).
  • Confident in using digital tools and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Knowledge of insurance and hospital billing workflows is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (Registered with Nursing Council).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in OPD counselling or patient coordination roles.
