Role Overview: As a senior leader in the Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS), your role is to ensure the development of a structured pathway for talent identification and recruitment, leading to elite performance. You will collaborate with various teams to design and execute strategies that align with the mission of producing world-class athletes achieving major event podium finishes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute a comprehensive talent pathway from identification to recruitment, collaborating with marketing teams for clear campaigns and social media publicity. - Coordinate and deliver talent identification programs, develop sport-specific benchmarking systems, and drive initiatives for talent transfer and scouting projects. - Oversee planning, marketing, and scheduling of talent identification campaigns, support athletes throughout recruitment processes, and create informative video and graphical content. - Recruit and develop a talent scouting team, build relationships with key stakeholders, and manage staff effectively. - Track athlete performance using analytics, lead pathway reviews, and use performance trends to inform recruitment strategy. - Collaborate with educational pathways team for athlete welfare, facilitate induction and exit processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. - Prepare program reports, athlete summaries, and budget justifications as required. Qualification Required: - Proven leadership in talent development in Olympic or elite sports settings with at least 5-8 years of experience. - Deep understanding of athlete development science, strong communication skills, and experience in managing budgets and staff. - Coaching qualifications in a relevant sport, knowledge of high-performance sports ecosystem in India, and experience with athlete management systems are desirable.
