As a R&D Software Developer (Robotics) , you will focus on designing, developing, and integrating robotic systems, leveraging your expertise in ROS and sensor technologies. What You’ll Do Tech You Will Perform Develop and integrate robotic algorithms and systems using ROS (Robot Operating System). Design and implement solutions for sensor integration, hardware abstraction, and pathfinding. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize robotics workflows and algorithms for advanced manufacturing. Implement real-time image processing and 3D data handling for robotic systems. Ensure high performance, modularity, and reliability of the software through clean coding practices and robust testing. Drive product development from concept through deployment, with an emphasis on scalability and future-proofing. Who You Are Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field—or equivalent industry experience. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in frameworks such as ROS or ROS2. Experience working with Industrial robots (preferably ABB or similar) and robot programming (RAPID programming or similar).. Ability to develop motion primitives and path planning algorithms like A*, Dijkstra, RRTs, etc. Solid mathematical foundation and understanding of the robot kinematics.
