You should have at least 7-10 years of experience as a SAS Administrator to be considered for this role. The position is available in Bangalore, Pune, or Hyderabad, and the ideal candidate must be able to join within 15 days. As a SAS Administrator, your responsibilities will include installing and configuring various SAS platforms on both Windows and Linux servers. You will be expected to troubleshoot any configuration issues that may arise during installation and configuration, ensuring the smooth operation of SAS servers for business users. Regular health checks of the SAS servers will be necessary to maintain system readiness. In this role, you will also troubleshoot user login issues for SAS client applications and web applications, renew SSL certificates and SAS licenses when required, and perform content migration between different environments such as TEST, DEV, and PROD. Monitoring server space to support batch job execution and participating in patching activities to prepare the SAS environment for batch executions are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up ODBC connections for various data stores, troubleshooting CLI errors related to libname statements, installing hotfixes as needed, resolving LAN mounting issues, handling Proc Export/Import issues, creating third-party libraries using SAS Management Console, and establishing multiple SAS Application servers for performance optimization.
