Job Overview

We are looking for three proficient Patch Management Engineers to assist in the deployment, monitoring, and compliance of a comprehensive patch management solution. This position entails managing the patch lifecycle, remote software distribution, asset tracking, and regulatory reporting across 65,000 endpoints and 5,000 servers.

Key Duties

1. Patch Lifecycle Management

* Obtain patches from OEM/vendor sources and confirm integrity (SHA1, MD5).

* Test patches in UAT environments prior to deployment.

* Implement patches across Windows, Linux, macOS, and third-party applications.

* Plan patch rollouts and facilitate rollback procedures.

* Track patch status and ensure adherence to deployment schedules.

2. Asset & Inventory Management

* Identify and catalog hardware/software assets across various platforms.

* Keep records of asset allocation and ensure compliance with licensing.

* Produce reports on asset utilization, software distribution, and compliance.

3. Compliance & Reporting

* Create daily, weekly, monthly, and on-demand reports in various formats (CSV, PDF, XLS, etc.).

* Develop dashboards for patch compliance, vulnerability status, and audit preparedness.

* Assist with regulatory reporting (IRDAI, ISO27001, CERT-In).

* Initiate alerts based on patch/vulnerability thresholds.

4. Integration & Support

* Integrate patch management with SIEM, ITSM, LDAP, PIM/PAM.

* Offer secure remote access and session monitoring.

* Collaborate with OEM support for problem resolution.

* Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training resources.

Qualifications

Education

* Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience

* At least 3–5 years of experience in patch management within enterprise settings.
