The Car Technician position at our reputed Car Showroom in OMR-Chennai requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Service & Maintenance department. As a Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing vehicles to ensure they are showroom-ready and meet customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will include conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and routine service checks on both new and used vehicles. Utilizing diagnostic tools, you will diagnose and efficiently rectify mechanical and electrical issues. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing minor repairs, part replacements, and regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and battery replacements. It will be crucial for you to uphold our showroom quality standards before vehicles are displayed or delivered. Keeping accurate service logs, inspection reports, and ensuring timely updates in job cards will be part of your routine tasks. Adherence to both showroom and manufacturer protocols for vehicle handling and maintenance is essential. To ensure a smooth workflow, you will need to coordinate closely with service advisors and workshop managers. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in both the workshop and showroom floor will be a top priority. This is a full-time position suitable for both experienced individuals and freshers. You are a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Technician joining our maintenance team to receive hands-on training and support in maintaining heavy commercial dumper vehicles (6 & 14 tyre). With a technical background, you will have the opportunity to learn under the guidance of experienced technicians. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the maintenance and repair of 6 & 14 tyre dumper vehicles, supporting senior technicians during breakdowns and routine service jobs, conducting basic mechanical checks, lubrication, and part replacements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop while recording work done and assisting in documentation processes.
