Assistant Manager - Ticketing Department: Ticketing Reporting To: Assistant General Manager Experience: 5-8 yrs Location : Chennai Responsibilities: ● Handle ticketing for corporate and VIP clients across international and domestic sectors. ● Provide multiple flight options, coordinate closely for boarding passes, insurance, and visa details. ● Issue, reissue, and manage ticket refunds and changes. ● Support junior ticketing executives by training and guiding. ● Manage records, maintain daily DSR, coordinate with hotel and visa teams post-ticket issuance. Skills Required: ● Expertise in GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre). ● Excellent ticketing knowledge, especially international routes, baggage rules, and airline policies. ● Client handling, multitasking, and emergency handling capabilities (24x7 support mindset). Preferred Qualifications: ● IATA certification or Diploma in Travel & Tourism. ● Minimum 10 years experience in ticketing, preferably corporate with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Performance Metrics: ● Ticket issuance accuracy. ● Turnaround time on booking responses. ● Client satisfaction and escalation management.
