The role involves designing and developing Park Assist System, Reverse Brake Assist, and Surround View System for automotive applications. You will be responsible for taking these systems from concept to production phase. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define system requirements, specifications, and architecture. Using CAD software (UGNx), you will create schematics, layouts, and 3D models. Additionally, you will design software control specifications, conduct Design Reviews, and validate software performance on Bench and Vehicle. Testing and validating parts at both Vehicle and Part levels to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards will be part of your responsibilities. Leading development and fostering a collaborative environment with other departments and vendor partners to facilitate proper system integration into vehicles will be crucial. Providing technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams during production, researching emerging technologies, and evaluating industry trends to maintain competitive designs are also key aspects of the role. You will be required to control Quality issues, analyze them, and implement necessary countermeasures. In terms of technical skills, you should have a good understanding of ICs, Ultrasonic sensors, Camera, and Parking systems. Knowledge of automotive safety standards like AIS (145), IS11827, ECE, ISO 17386, ISO26262 is essential. Proficiency in DMU/CAD data preparation/checking in UGNx, experience with development on SoC & Microcontroller platforms, and familiarity with vehicle or component development are required. Experience with the complete lifecycle of design and development for at least one part/model is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Coordinating department activities and representing the team in various forums will be part of your role. Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are also important. Education-wise, a B.E/B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Automobile is essential. Desirable qualifications include a basic understanding and knowledge of Automotive electrical architecture, electronics parts like Reverse Park Assist system, Rear View Camera, Surround View Camera, hardware circuit understanding, part packaging and layouting in CAD, software design, development & validation on HILS, and testing & validation for the above-mentioned parts. The ideal candidate should have 4-10 years of experience in the field.,
