Position: Sr. Manager R&D Lubricants Department: R&D, Lubricant Division Reports to: Head R&D Lubricants Purpose: Lead product development, upgradation, and cost optimization for lubricants, including semi-synthetic, neat MWF products, and soluble cutting oils . Provide technical support, drive efficiency projects, and deliver condition monitoring services to meet evolving business and customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and upgrade semi-synthetic, soluble cutting oils, and neat MWF products. Implement cost reduction through alternate raw materials, blend optimization, and vendor development. Ensure HSSE compliance and explore environment-friendly raw material alternatives. Provide customer technical support, product recommendations, and competitor benchmarking. Conduct oil sample analysis, trend reports, and condition monitoring. Coordinate with manufacturing/QC for new product operationalization and issue resolution. Maintain ISO 9001 quality documentation, MSDS, TDS, and calibrate lab equipment. Drive projects through RDnL software and participate in seminars, launches, and customer visits. Requirements: Masters degree in Chemistry or equivalent, with 10+ years of laboratory/R&D experience. Strong technical, analytical, and computer skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and communicate effectively across teams and with customers.
