Panel Saw Operator

As a reliable and experienced Panel Saw Operator, you will be joining the production team with a specialization in precisely cutting plywood sheets for furniture and interior projects. Your primary role will involve setting up, operating, and maintaining panel saw equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality cuts that meet customer and production specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Operate panel saws (manual or CNC) to cut plywood sheets to required dimensions. - Read and interpret cutting lists, work orders, and technical drawings. - Measure, mark, and inspect materials for accurate cutting. - Select proper blades and machine settings based on material type and thickness. - Ensure minimal material wastage and maximize cutting efficiency. - Organize and label cut materials for downstream processing or assembly. - Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Report defects, machine issues, or material inconsistencies to supervisors. - Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures. Requirements: - Proven experience as a panel saw operator or in a wood/furniture manufacturing environment. - Strong understanding of plywood properties, grades, and handling. - Ability to read blueprints and cutting diagrams. - Good math and measurement skills with attention to detail. - Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering large plywood sheets (up to 50 lbs). - Knowledge of machine maintenance and safe operation procedures. You will be working in rotational shifts plus overtime hours with a salary range of 350,000 to 420,000 per annum.
