Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Homag Machine Operator to become a part of our production team. As a Homag Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Homag woodworking machinery, including CNC, edge banding, beam saws, and drilling/routing equipment utilized in the manufacturing of modular furniture and kitchens. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and running Homag machines such as Hpp-180 BHX and CNC, as well as loading and aligning workpieces accurately. You will be required to interpret design drawings, programs, and technical specifications, monitor machine operations for quality and precision, and perform routine checks, calibration, and minor maintenance tasks. Troubleshooting errors in operation or material feed, ensuring timely completion of production targets with minimal waste, following safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area will also be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for recording production data and providing regular reports to the supervisor. To qualify for this position, you should have experience operating Homag or similar CNC woodworking machines, knowledge of panel processing, cutting, drilling, routing, and edge banding processes, the ability to interpret production drawings and machine programs, and a basic understanding of machine maintenance and safety procedures. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a minimum qualification of ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Wood Technology are essential requirements. Preferred attributes for this role include prior experience in the modular furniture or kitchen manufacturing industry, familiarity with software like woodWOP, and qualities such as flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is a full-time position with opportunities for permanent employment or internship. The contract length for the internship is 3 months. The work schedule is based on morning shifts with availability for day shifts. The work location is in person at Plot no 85, Industrial area, Phase-2, Panchkula.
