As a Senior Data Analyst/Planner at M&C Saatchi's Intelligence Team, you will play a central role in supporting the broader strategy and business leads within the creative, consulting, and media agencies. Your primary responsibility will involve providing data and analysis using the Intelligence Platform, a curated data stack of tools and resources that power the M&C Saatchi Group. Your role will require you to delve into various types of data to uncover compelling stories and narratives that can transform data into creative opportunities and drive business growth. You should possess the creativity to bring data to life through engaging narratives, be comfortable presenting to internal audiences, and have a strong understanding of brands and marketing strategies. Additionally, you should be inquisitive, detail-oriented, and always eager to learn new approaches to data analysis. This global role, based in the Bangalore office of M&C Saatchi, may require you to work outside of regular hours to accommodate different time zones, primarily London and/or US time zones. Key Responsibilities: - Uncover Narratives: Source, blend, and analyze data to address business queries swiftly and identify trends across various markets and industries. - Bring Data to Life: Translate complex datasets into easy-to-understand narratives and client deliverables, ranging from emails to detailed reports or interactive dashboards. - Stay Ahead of the Curve: Familiarize yourself with a variety of tools and platforms and be open to learning new ones as needed. - Push Boundaries & Innovate: Introduce fresh ideas, experiment with new initiatives, and contribute to technological innovations within the team. - Prioritize Data-driven, Actionable Insights: Focus on delivering flawless, impactful reports that provide actionable insights. Key Initiatives You'll Support: - Automating data sourcing for Cultural Power, a global intelligence product. - Launching a global insights program to promote data literacy and engagement across the network. - Experimenting with AI-driven tools and automation to streamline reporting processes. - Expanding intelligence capabilities by incorporating new data sources. - Developing Opportunity Finder, a dashboard to identify industry shifts and new business opportunities. Requirements: - 5 to 6 years of experience in a Data and Research division within an advertising or research organization. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Familiarity with SaaS platforms like Brandwatch, GlobalWebIndex, Similarweb/SEMRush, etc. - Analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and translate them into actionable insights. - Design awareness to transform insights into compelling presentations. - Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and business challenges. Desirable Skills: - Background in digital marketing or advertising analytics. - Basic knowledge of Python coding, business intelligence, and data analysis. - Strong desire to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
