Job Title: CAD Intern – Jewelry & Lifestyle Product Design Location: Panaashkalp studio, Vile Parle West, Mumbai (Hybrid – In-Person Required) Start Date: Immediate | Type: Internship Note: Short test project required before onboarding About the Internship: This is a unique opportunity to train under two seasoned 3D computer graphics professionals from the U.S. with years of experience in the games and film industry. You’ll receive hands-on mentorship while contributing to real-world design projects for high-end jewelry and lifestyle brands. Key Responsibilities: Translate 2D design concepts into precise 3D CAD models using Rhino, MatrixGold, or equivalent software Collaborate with the design team to iterate and finalize designs Prepare models optimized for 3D printing, casting, and production workflows Assist in rendering high-quality visuals for client and internal presentations Participate in brainstorming, reviews, and feedback sessions Maintain organized files and version history for design assets Who You Are: Proficient in Rhino, MatrixGold, or other 3D CAD tools A design student or recent graduate in jewelry design, product design, or related field Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, and form Familiarity with jewelry construction techniques and tolerances Eager to learn and grow in a professional setting Able to commit to a hybrid internship (part remote, part in-person at Vile Parle West) Bonus Skills: Rendering skills (KeyShot, Blender, V-Ray, etc.) Knowledge of ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, or Maya Sketching or visual communication skills Passion for jewelry, fashion, and lifestyle aesthetics To Apply: Send your portfolio and resume to [email protected] Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a test project before onboarding.
