Job Title : Warehouse In Charge Department : Warehouse/Logistics Reports To: Operations Manager/Management Location: Panihati, Barrackpore and Mdhyamgram. Job Purpose: To manage and supervise all warehouse operations, ensuring effective inventory management, optimal space utilization, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Supervise and ensuring compliance with best practices and safety regulations. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient operations. Coordinate and oversee all export arrangements, including preparing shipping documentation, liaising with freight forwarders, and ensuring compliance with international export regulations. Monitor and track outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and maintain communication with customers and partners on export-related matters. Plan and organize the layout of the warehouse for maximum space utilization and efficiency Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders. Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors. Prepare reports on warehouse performance for management review. Qualifications & Skills: A graduate degree in any stream is required, reflecting the versatility and foundational knowledge necessary to excel in a dynamic warehouse environment. Fluency in spoken English is mandatory to facilitate clear communication with management, and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, as it is essential for managing data, analysing inventory trends, and preparing detailed operational reports. Physical ability to handle the demands of warehouse operations. Experience and Certification in warehouse operation (preferred). Remuneration: To be determined based on experience and industry standards. Working Hours: 10 AM to 6 PM The candidate must also demonstrate flexibility to work at above three different locations on alternate days, adapting to operational requirements as needed. ** Immediate Joining ** *
