As a Senior Data Architect at Eaton, your main responsibility will be to design and implement data pipelines, Ontology objects, and integrations with other systems and data sources. You will be tasked with developing robust data transformation workflows that ensure high performance and scalability, as well as assisting others in doing the same. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that adhere to established architectural patterns within Eaton will be a significant part of your role. You will also oversee the enforcement of good data governance practices and ensure the security of our data. Additionally, you will play a key role in continuously improving data architecture, setting best practices for data management, security, and governance in Palantir environments. Your duties as a Senior Data Architect will include creating blueprints for data management systems to ensure organized, integrated, and accessible data. You will develop data models that guide database design and development, design and build databases for optimal data storage and retrieval, and establish data policies and standards that align with business objectives. Implementing security measures to protect sensitive information, ensuring compliance with regulations, setting standards for data quality, and maintaining data integrity will also be part of your responsibilities. You will design approaches to data integration, work with stakeholders to design effective data infrastructure, and stay updated on the latest trends in data management and technologies. Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Solution/data architecture, Data Modeling, Data management, Data strategy, and Cloud database technologies. - Bachelor's degree Skills: - Familiarity with data architecture frameworks and best practices. - Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions. - Strong troubleshooting skills to assist others with their work. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Palantir Platform. - Familiarity with the latest Generative AI models. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar. - Good understanding of Data Integration technologies. - Knowledge of API-First architecture. - Experience with enterprise data projects (data warehouses/master data management, others) and hands-on data analysis. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps processes. - Ability to adapt to changing business needs, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. - Strong team player, self-motivated, and committed with the ability to work independently and understand all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.,
