Key Responsibilities:Identify and connect with buyers and suppliers across the globe for agri commodities. Act as a broker to facilitate container-level trade deals. Use platforms such as LinkedIn, Alibaba, TradeIndia, and others to prospect leads. Approach customers via WhatsApp, SMS, email, and calls. Create, post, and update engaging marketing content (posts/reels) daily on Instagram and Facebook. Write professional and persuasive emails to initiate and follow up on trade inquiries. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation. Manage and grow relationships with international clients and partners. Requirements: Proven experience in international trading of Agri commodities. Strong knowledge of pulses, grains, spices, oils, dry fruits, and essential oils. Excellent communication skills (spoken and written). Proficiency in platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Alibaba, TradeIndia, and other B2B portals. Strong understanding of import/export processes and documentation. Digital marketing and social media management experience preferred. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Order Management • Receive and analyze export orders from clients or internal departments. • Verify order requirements and prepare for processing. 2. Freight and Shipping Coordination • Coordinate with CHA (Customs House Agent) to request sea freight rates and check vessel/shipping space availability. • Finalize freight booking and maintain regular coordination with the CHA for shipping schedules and documentation. 3. Supplier and Production Coordination • Place orders with the manufacturer based on confirmed export orders. • Follow up regularly with the factory to ensure timely preparation and readiness of goods. 4. Inspection Coordination • Inform third-party inspection agencies and the factory regarding inspection schedules. • Ensure inspection is conducted as per buyer or regulatory requirements. 5. Transportation and Container Movement • Coordinate with local transport agencies for container movement from the container yard to the factory. • Ensure timely availability of containers for loading. 6. Documentation and Invoicing • Prepare export invoices and packing lists strictly as per buyer/CHA/shipping instructions. • Share documents with relevant parties for approval and corrections if needed. 7. Stuffing and Loading Operations • Coordinate with the factory and stuffing team to ensure smooth loading of cargo into containers. • Supervise or support the loading process as required. 8. Shipping and Customs Documentation • Provide detailed shipping instructions to the CHA for filing the Shipping Bill. • Check and verify the draft Shipping Bill before final submission. • Review the Bill of Lading (BL) draft for accuracy before final issuance. • Issue loading certificates if required by the buyer or shipping line. • Prepare all necessary shipping/export documents as per buyer and compliance requirements. 9. Container Tracking and Follow-Up • Monitor container movement weekly until it reaches the final destination. • Provide shipment updates to internal teams or clients as needed. ______________ Skills and Requirements • Basic understanding of international trade, logistics, and INCOTERMS. • Familiarity with export documentation and shipping procedures. • Good communication and coordination skills (especially with CHA, factory, and transporters). • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics tools.
