Job Description

Professional Summary Dedicated and detail-oriented NACE Level I (or II) Coating Inspector with at least 3 years of experience in surface preparation, painting, and coating inspection in oil & gas, marine, or infrastructure projects. Well-versed in international standards including SSPC, ISO, ASTM, and NACE. Proven track record in ensuring compliance with project specifications and maintaining high-quality standards in challenging environments. Core competencies Surface preparation & cleanliness inspection (e.g. SSPC-SP10, SP6, SP16,SP1 Etc.) Wet and dry film thickness (DFT) measurement Holiday and pinhole detection Adhesion testing Environmental condition checks (dew point, RH, surface temp) Material verification (paint batch checks, shelf life, mixing ratio) Report preparation and documentation Safety & HSE compliance on site Familiarity with coating systems (epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich, etc.) Work Experience Inspected all surface prep and coating works on offshore platform refurbishment Ensured application of coatings as per NACE/ASTM standards Coordinated with QA/QC teams and client representatives Conducted touch-up and repair inspections post-installation Assisted senior inspectors in daily inspection routines Maintained inspection logs, DFT readings, and paint batch control Interested ones are requested to please share their updated CV to careers@cryogasindustries.com or connect at 7228024416
