Painter

Painting & Maintenance Tasks:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers or sealants.
• Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to obtain the required color and texture.
• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Repair and refinish walls, woodwork, doors, and furniture as needed.
• Maintain painted surfaces by retouching worn or damaged areas.
• Perform wallpaper installation, removal, and repair when required.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify areas needing painting or repair.
• Ensure all painting materials and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and safely handled.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow hotel safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in the handling and disposal of paints and chemicals.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.

Coordination & Teamwork:

• Coordinate with housekeeping and front office departments to minimize disruption to guests.
• Support other maintenance team members with general repair and upkeep tasks as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
