Oversee the injection moulding process, ensuring optimal part design and efficient production. Assembly Structure & Special Processes: Develop lamp assembly structures, coordinating with design and manufacturing teams. Manage special processes including hard coating, aluminium coating, painting, and chroming, ensuring compliance with industry standards. New Project Activities: Follow up on local activities for new projects, including injection moulding, assembly, workability trials, and engineering order (EO) status. Coordinate reliability testing and quality assessments to validate product performance. Cost Reduction & VAVE: Implement Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to generate cost-saving ideas and improve product value. Analyze project profitability and recommend strategies for cost optimization. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in product development within the automotive lighting industry, with hands-on experience in APQP, injection moulding, and special processes.
