As a Senior Software Engineer in Application Maintenance and Support at CitiusTech, you will be part of an Agile team responsible for building healthcare applications and implementing new features while maintaining the highest coding development standards. Your primary responsibilities will include managing end customer communication, providing solutions following standard SOPs, and ensuring the day-to-day support of application systems. You will be required to identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate application issues while providing support to clients in shifts, initially during US working hours across different time zones and eventually in a 24/7 rotation. Your role will also involve setting processes, ensuring timely adherence, analyzing and diagnosing root causes of complex issues related to software applications, Windows OS, SQL Server databases, and other technologies. You will be expected to log and document incidents within a ticketing system, refer incidents to the senior team when necessary, and ensure SLAs are met according to support specifications. To excel in this role, you should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and have a strong educational background such as an Engineering Degree in BE/ME/BTECH/MTECH/B.Sc/M.Sc. Technical certifications in multiple technologies and an ITIL Certification are desirable. Mandatory technical skills for this role include experience in Application Support and Maintenance, proficiency in L1-L2 support processes within the Healthcare Domain, and expertise in application troubleshooting. You must have a good command of Linux, SQL, ITIL knowledge, and familiarity with ITSM Ticketing tools. Additionally, a good understanding of DICOM, HL7 interoperability, PACS workflows, and communication protocols is essential. It would be beneficial to have knowledge of Cloud networking and security configurations as well. Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and a commitment to meeting SLAs are crucial for success in this role.
