Position: Engineer or Sr. Engineer- Packaging & Development Location : Chakan, Pune Experience : 1-2 years Education : Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Materials Science or related. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Packaging Expert to lead and manage all aspects of packaging development, sourcing, and implementation. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Design, Production, Logistics, and Purchasing teams while identifying and developing new materials and suppliers to optimize cost, quality, sustainability, and efficiency in packaging solutions. Candidate Requirements: Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, paper, metal, etc.), manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices. Experience working cross-functionally with Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams. Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Cross-functional coordination Technical knowledge of packaging materials and processes Supplier management and development Cost optimization and sustainability awareness Strong analytical and organizational skills Continuous improvement mindset
