You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff engaged in grocery packaging operations. Your role will involve planning and organizing packaging workflows to ensure production targets and deadlines are met. It will be crucial to guarantee the proper handling, labeling, and packaging of grocery products in accordance with company standards. Monitoring inventory levels of packaging materials and coordinating replenishment will also be part of your duties. Ensuring the implementation and enforcement of safety policies and procedures to uphold a safe working environment is essential. Regular inspections must be conducted to verify that quality standards are being maintained. You will be expected to train and mentor staff on packaging processes, safety procedures, and best practices. Maintaining accurate records of production, inventory, and staff attendance will be vital to your role. Collaboration with quality control and logistics teams is required to ensure smooth operations. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing corrective actions will also be within your responsibilities.
