In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions with a focus on performance, cost reduction, efficiency, and sustainability. You will release top-level finished goods configurations, including devices, accessories, instructions, packaging, and labeling, based on design input defined by product requirements. What We Are Looking For: - A Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on performance, cost reduction, and efficiency. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in packaging design and development, with a proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives. - Proficiency in packaging design software and familiarity with material science and packaging technologies. - Ability to apply knowledge of transportation, storage, and handling standards to write and execute verification protocols and reports. - Proficiency in creating 3D CAD solid models and assemblies, preferably using SolidWorks, GD&T drawings, and conducting statistical tolerance stack-up analysis. - Ability to create dynamic Bills of Materials (BOMs) that can accommodate multiple configurations for different kits. - Exceptional technical analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analysis and manage budgets.
