Location: This position is based 100% remotely in India. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions with a focus on performance, cost reduction, efficiency, and sustainability. Your primary objective will be to ensure that these solutions maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction. You will release top-level finished goods configurations, including devices, accessories, instructions, packaging, and labeling, based on design input defined by product requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as product development, marketing, supply chain, and external suppliers, will be essential to ensure that packaging designs meet performance expectations, cost targets, sustainability goals, usability expectations, and market needs. Additionally, you will manage the packaging development process from concept through to production, ensuring timely project delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinating the execution of packaging, handling, and environmental testing as part of design verification, including the writing and releasing of protocols and reports, will also fall under your purview. What We Are Looking For: - A Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on performance, cost reduction, and efficiency. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in packaging design and development, with a proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives. - Proficiency in packaging design software and familiarity with material science and packaging technologies. - Ability to apply knowledge of transportation, storage, and handling standards to write and execute verification protocols and reports. - Proficiency in creating 3D CAD solid models and assemblies, preferably using SolidWorks, GD&T drawings, and conducting statistical tolerance stack-up analysis. - Ability to create dynamic Bills of Materials (BOMs) that can accommodate multiple configurations for different kits. - Exceptional technical analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analysis and manage budgets.
