Packaging Technician

As a Packaging Data Technician at TMS Global, you will be responsible for managing technical data of multi-material packaging, drawings, and specifications. Your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining the strategic packaging database for TMS customers in collaboration with the European packaging development team, procurement team, and external packaging partners. Key Responsibilities: - Follow up and collect part specifications from customers, suppliers, and the EU Packaging development team, recording and processing them in a specific Excel file/software. - Check and verify parts specifications files to ensure they meet quality standards and technical requirements. - Chase up late or non-conformance submissions from local teams and vendors to ensure only approved assets are stored in the system. - Classify, rename, and upload approved files following the existing architecture in the agreed DAMs and/or job management systems. - Consolidate categorization data from customers into the management systems. - Maintain the packaging specifications database to provide an accurate overview of solutions used and their suitability. Qualifications: - Packaging related/focused degree. - Up to 1 year of practical experience, with knowledge of packaging in multi-materials such as corrugated, plastic, labels, film, or foam. - Experience with Graphic design or photoshop software. - Experience with CAD software such as Artios and/or similar. - Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Required Skill: - Knowledge of Graphic design software/Photoshop software - either illustrator or adobe software. Preferred Skill: - Experience with CAD software like Artios and/or similar.
