Packaging Structural Designer

Role Overview: You will be joining Corugami, a sustainable materials company based in Pune, as a Structural Packaging Designer. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of packaging projects from start to finish. Your main responsibilities will include creating innovative structural designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that packaging solutions are both creative and feasible for production. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop sustainable packaging solutions that meet client objectives and user needs. - Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure packaging designs are suitable for production. - Prototype and test packaging designs for functionality, aesthetics, and durability. - Develop detailed construction drawings and packaging specifications for manufacturers and suppliers. - Stay updated on packaging materials, design trends, and sustainable innovations. Qualifications: - Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Packaging, or a related field. - Proficiency in CAD software such as ArtiosCad, EngView, AutoCAD, or similar. - Strong passion for packaging design and knowledge of materials like paper, corrugated boxes, and rigid boxes. - Understanding of structural design principles, 2D modeling, and construction techniques. - Familiarity with industry trends, printing methods, and sustainable packaging alternatives. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
