The Packaging Technologist (Technical Compliance Manager) position based in Chennai (Hybrid) involves playing a crucial role in a diverse team to ensure packaging components and Bills of Materials (BOMs) align with sustainability objectives for brands and retailers. You will be responsible for analyzing and validating data, and collaborating with clients to enhance their packaging solutions while adhering to sustainability goals. The initial training will be provided at the Chennai office, with the duration subject to individual experience levels. Your responsibilities will include working closely with clients to optimize packaging solutions in line with sustainability objectives, reviewing and validating Bills of Materials (BOMs) to meet client specifications, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. An essential requirement for this role is the ability to build databases by compiling packaging components specifications for FMCG/Health products, creating Master data files, and establishing a components data library for FMCG/Health products. The ideal candidate for this position should possess an Institute of Packaging Diploma or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in packaging development and analysis. Additionally, candidates should have a strong background in various packaging substrates and pack formats, as well as proficiency in the English language.
