You will be expected to conduct diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and controls aspects of HVAC systems, work with control systems like PLC and DDC-based HVAC control panels, and have hands-on experience with various brands such as Carrier, JCI, SKM, Trane, Liebert, among others. Adherence to safety standards and best practices in the oil and gas environment is crucial for this role. You will be tasked with supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, package units, ventilation fans, and ducting. Your role will involve reading and interpreting HVAC drawings, layouts, schematics, and manufacturer manuals to effectively plan and execute work. You will need to allocate tasks to team members to ensure optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and materials. Additionally, you will oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment, ensuring correct alignment, leveling, and secure installation according to specifications. Monitoring maintenance activities, such as inspection, troubleshooting, filter replacement, refrigerant charging, leak testing, and component replacement, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to ensure the proper installation and insulation of ductwork, piping, and supports in line with design standards.
