As Assistant IT Support at SKM Air Conditioning LLC based in Sharjah, UAE, you will be a valuable member of the IT Infrastructure team. Your role will involve assisting in troubleshooting, supporting, diagnosing, and resolving IT technical issues within agreed SLAs. Additionally, you will configure new IT equipment and ensure that authorized software is installed and regularly updated on all computers. You will play a key role in implementing the IT Manual across SKM offices, maintaining detailed lists of IT infrastructure and suppliers, and updating quotations for IT equipment, software, and services. It will be part of your responsibilities to oversee the maintenance of CCTV, PABX, Attendance, Barcode readers, and MPS systems. Regularly scheduled hardware and software maintenance will also be within your purview. As part of your duties, you will report any non-conformities against the IT Manual to IT management, assist in the IT requisition process, and update IT items in the warehouse. Your involvement in IT procurement and monthly inventory top-ups will be essential. Ensuring the satisfaction of IT users, maintaining a high level of confidentiality, and being familiar with ISO Audit processes and QHSE standards will be integral to your role. You will also be expected to perform any other IT-related duties assigned by IT management. The ideal candidate for this role will have a diploma, certificate, or degree in IT or Computer Science along with a minimum of 2 years of IT support experience. A basic understanding of hardware, software, network devices, and IT security standards is required. Familiarity with IT infrastructure tools and systems is advantageous. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills are essential, and a customer-focused mindset with a willingness to learn is highly valued.
