If you love weaving stories that inspire action, enjoy blending data with creativity, and want your work to fuel ecological and social change across rural Maharashtra—this role is for you. About the Role As Communications Manager, you will play a key role in two verticals at Paani Foundation: (i) Social Media and (ii) Fundraising and Donor Relations. You will shape Paani Foundation’s digital voice and strengthen how we share impact with the world. You will: Work on our English-language storytelling on social media—spotlighting our work, partners, and milestones Make Marathi content more accessible to wider audiences through English subtitles, smart captioning, and tailored hooks for different audience segments Contribute to impact assessments (internal and third-party) Manage website updates to keep content fresh and engaging Support fundraising efforts through compelling written content and collateral Develop reports and briefs—including our Annual Report and progress updates You will work closely with the Head of Outreach and Partnerships as part of a small, collaborative team, gaining hands-on experience in content strategy, communications, reporting, and fundraising within a mission-driven organization. Who We’re Looking For We want someone who brings a balance of writing flair, strategic thinking, and execution ability—and most importantly, someone with a genuine passion for social impact.
