Job Description:- Industrial projects experience is must in buildings like Warehouses, admin building, medical center, electrical buildings, and any other support facilities buildings. Knowledge of International & local codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, AMCA, and NBC to incorporate in design work. Prepare and plan all deliverables needed in project for HVAC scope of work in the project. Ability to guide MEP draughtsman to generate required output and 3D models within project schedule To prepare Design basis report for HVAC scope of work in projects To read and follow in detail Client Technical specifications. Ability to Design any HVAC system and Finalization of design schemes HVAC system. Design all the HVAC thermal loads calculations. Calculation of ventilation requirements Read and Analyze AutoCAD / Revit architectural layouts. Design the Ducts systems and their required calculations. To prepare P&ID layouts To prepare concept drawings and detailed design drawings or get it prepared from designers To prepare BOQ and Technical Specifications. To prepare equipment data sheets. To check all drawings and other deliverables before sending it to client and to maintain high standards in quality output. Working knowledge of sustainable engineering practices shall be an added advantage Practical understanding of structures, specifications and details drawings for the buildings. Logical analysis of problems Fluent in English and good communication skills within cross culture teams is must. Lead and oversee the design of mechanical systems for water, wastewater, and desalination projects Develop and review process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment layouts for water treatment facilities Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing for pumps, pipes, and other mechanical components Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines Manage and mentor junior designers and drafters in the use of Revit, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD software Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in mechanical system designs Prepare technical specifications and equipment data sheets for procurement purposes Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for design projects Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions Review and approve mechanical drawings and models before final submission Troubleshoot design issues and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper implementation of mechanical designs Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in water and wastewater treatment processes Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for the mechanical design team Assist in the preparation of proposals and cost estimates for new projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred. 5 - 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry, with a focus on process mechanical design for treatment facilities. Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Proven expertise in using Revit, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD for water market-related designs. Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as WaterGEMS or InfoWater is a plus. Demonstrated experience in project management, including budget control, resource allocation, and timeline adherence. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences. In-depth knowledge of AWWA, ANSI, ASME, and other relevant industry standards and regulations. Experience with sustainable design practices and familiarity with LEED certification processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations. Ability to perform site visits and field work, which may involve climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Professional registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for project site visits and client meetings. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies in water and wastewater treatment processes.

PFD and P&ID DEVELOPMENT, Data sheets and specifications. Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD’s), MSD’s, Mass balance and Heat Balance for process using hysys a. Surge analysis calculation. b. Hydraulic analysis d. PUMP DESIGN/SIZING/SECLECTION & HYDRAULIC:

Key Responsibilities: Create and review Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) following industry standards and GMP requirements. Develop 3D models for process skids and plant piping systems using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, REVIT). Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and automation engineers. Ensure compliance with ASME BPE standards. Essential Skills: Experience with modular/skid design. Knowledge of cleaning and sterilization processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preparation & Review of P&ID diagram Preparation of Datasheets for Field instruments, special instruments, JB, Cables, Trays, Instrument fittings etc. Preparation of Instrument Index, I/O list, cable schedule, Junction box schedule, wiring diagram, termination diagram, Instrument Hook-up drawing, Instrument location drawing, Earthing layouts, Control schematic diagram, logic diagram and Loop diagram, Instrument installation diagram. Preparation of Design basis and Control philosophy for various instrumentation process system and packages/skids Sizing of control valve, Safety valve, flow element such as orifice & annubar. Wake frequency calculations for TW in SPI/In tools/Instrucalc Review and preparation of material requisition/RFQ, vendor offer evaluation, technical bid analysis (TBA). Review of vendor documents such as instrument datasheet, Panel wiring & Panel General Arrangement drawings, Power calculation, Earthing drawings Preparation and review of PLCArchitecture, I/O mapping, review of PLC panel wiring & GA drawings and HMI & SCADA graphics Co-ordination with inter disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Process and Civil for instrumentation interfaces. Co-ordination with external stakeholders such as vendors, clients & consultant Knowledge in review of quality inspection, QA documents, FAT/SAT procedures.
