Web Developer – WordPress / WooCommerce (Remote, CRO Focused) We are looking for the best of the best to join our team as a Web Developer, responsible for managing and optimizing a portfolio of WordPress/WooCommerce websites across our group of companies. This role is fully remote/home-based, but requires availability for meetings during Australian business hours. Your success will be measured directly against monthly conversion rate goals. Responsibilities Build new websites and customize existing ones using WordPress + Elementor templates. Develop and manage custom plugins and advanced WooCommerce features. Implement international website functionality (geo-location, multi-currency, multi-language). Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies across all sites. Design and run A/B split tests, analyzing results and implementing improvements. Collaborate with marketing, design, and data teams to maximize ROI. Continuously improve technical performance, SEO, and user experience. Requirements Expert-level skills in WordPress customization (themes, plugins, hooks, filters). Strong knowledge of WooCommerce management, optimization, and scaling. Hands-on experience in CRO strategy, A/B testing, and analytics tracking. Skilled in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and PHP for WordPress. Proven track record of increasing conversion rates. Ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver measurable outcomes. Advantageous Experience with BigQuery and Looker Studio for advanced reporting.
