Job Description – PostgreSQL Trainer Position: PostgreSQL Trainer Location: Remote Employment Type: Part-time - Twice in a month About the Role: We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Trainer to design and deliver high-quality training sessions for professionals at various skill levels. The trainer will be responsible for creating learning materials, conducting workshops, and guiding participants to build strong expertise in PostgreSQL database administration, development, and optimization. Key Responsibilities Deliver instructor-led PostgreSQL training (online and/or classroom). Design, develop, and update PostgreSQL training modules, labs, and assessments. Teach fundamental to advanced PostgreSQL topics, including: Database architecture & installation SQL queries and optimization Backup & recovery strategies Replication & clustering Performance tuning & monitoring Security & user management Provide hands-on guidance through real-world exercises and case studies. Evaluate trainee progress and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices. Collaborate with the learning & development team to enhance training delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA, Developer, or Trainer . Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL. Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL installation, configuration, and administration. Experience with performance tuning, high availability, and replication. Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners of varying backgrounds. Certification in PostgreSQL (preferred but not mandatory).
