Ideally, you should have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, proficiency in JavaScript, knowledge of assertion libraries like Chai and frameworks like Mocha and Jasmine, understanding of REST APIs, familiarity with page object model and design patterns, expertise in using browser developer tools, experience with version control systems like Git, integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with tools like POSTMAN, and deployment to cloud infrastructure. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Nice to have qualifications include a good understanding of microservices architecture, familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, ability to work with Docker and cloud infrastructure, knowledge of OWASP Guidelines and hands-on experience with Burp Suite, and familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques for web application scalability and speed assessment.
