This position is responsible for reviewing the RFQ documents for DCS, ECMS, C&I, Advance Solutions (KOB3, KOB1) offers, preparing Bill Of Materials, configuration diagrams, technical compliance/deviation reports, accurate costing of the system offered, participating in technical negotiations, managing technical expectations of the customer, and meeting quality and timelines for proposal submissions. In this role, your responsibilities will include planning and preparing proposals on Ovation DCS, Ovation SIS, ECMS, DGC-AVR, and C&I Package solutions. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to understand and incorporate customer requirements in the proposal. Additionally, you will conduct plant walk-down surveys to identify challenges for retrofits, coordinate with procurement teams, work with vendors for techno-commercial offers, and ensure the development and proposal of the most cost-efficient solutions. You will also engage in techno-commercial reviews/meetings with customers for key projects, ensure timely and accurate completion of activities, interact with various vendors and Emerson SCM teams for acquiring the best quotes, and detail all records accurately in line with Department Quality Procedures. Furthermore, you will support a team concept to share expertise, develop expertise in specific functional areas, and use online costing tool EET for preparation of costing and budgets. You should quickly and decisively take action, ensure accountability, communicate effectively, pursue tasks with energy and drive, keep the end goal in sight, deliver messages clearly and concisely, actively listen and check for understanding, focus on high priorities, lay out detailed schedules, and develop steps for achieving objectives. For this role, a BTech/B.E degree is essential with 7-10 years of DCS/Power Plant Instrumentation/Proposals experience. Candidates with knowledge of Hardware and Software functions of DCS/SCADA systems, proven experience in leading projects or managing project-related tasks, and good communication skills will be preferred. Preferred qualifications that set you apart include previous work experience in Proposals or Operations/Maintenance of Power Plants. In this role, your responsibilities will include building marketing strategy, communications, and promotional programs to enhance brand awareness, develop customer loyalty, drive demand, and support overall business objectives. You will lead the execution of agreed-upon marketing plans and campaigns, drive market penetration in Renewables Power, and work closely with Sales to convert SCADA opportunities into an Order. Additionally, you will work with Sales and Proposals to prepare winnable SCADA solutions for the renewable power market and develop key accounts in Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid Power. Organizing and supporting PWS marketing activities in India and Southeast Asia, including user group conferences, industry events, trade shows, customer events seminars, etc., to generate leads and follow-up will also be part of your role. You will be responsible for finalizing the agenda for marketing events, user conferences, trade shows, seminars, etc., as well as maintaining and upgrading Ovation DCS and Ovation Green SCADA demo systems. Demonstrating Ovation DCS and Ovation Green SCADA offerings using Hardware and Virtual Demo systems to customers, preparing presentation content, organizing presentations on offerings to internal & external customers, organizing training of sales/proposal group on new product releases, and studying competitors" technical offerings will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will need to analyze the competition and provide updates on the latest developments in the competition world. Creating content on the power business scenario, market share, and market trends, including the creation of new product/feature brochures, newsletters, press releases, and data sheets, will also be part of your role. You will define and coordinate the launch of new and enhanced products by working closely with Communications and other Marketing groups, write technical papers/articles for magazines on Power & Water solutions and the latest offerings, and prepare messaging for value-based technical selling and budgets. You are someone who acts quickly and decisively to ensure accountability and leads the work to achieve results. Communication is a key strength of yours, and you pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish. You always keep the end in sight and put in extra effort to meet deadlines. For this role, you will need a minimum of 10 years" experience in DCS or SCADA in the Power or Renewable Power industry (Preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Marketing/Business Development/Sales Support (Solution Architect)/Sales. A Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering is required, with an MBA being an advantage. Thorough knowledge of DCS and SCADA solutions for the Power and Renewable Power Industry, value-based selling skills and approach, the ability to build trust with customers, set meaningful goals and established action plans, communication and presentation skills, analytical and business writing skills are also essential. Preferred qualifications that set you apart include previous work experience in DCS or SCADA in the Power or Renewable Power industry (Preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Marketing/Business Development/Sales Support (Solution Architect)/Sales.
