Job Title: Store Supervisor Mechanical Stores Department: Stores & Inventory Location: Hyderabad - Medchal Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Store Supervisor with a Mechanical Engineering background to oversee the efficient handling of inward and outward materials, inventory control, and timely issue of materials to the production department. The role involves coordination with procurement, quality, and production teams to ensure uninterrupted production flow and proper inventory management of mechanical components, tools, and consumables. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inward Material Management Receive incoming materials, spares, and consumables as per purchase orders. Verify quantity, specification, and quality of received materials in coordination with the QC team. Ensure accurate Goods Receipt Note (GRN) entries in ERP or manual register. Proper tagging, labelling, and storage of materials in designated locations. 2. Material Issuance to Production Issue raw materials, mechanical spares, tools, and consumables to the production and maintenance teams based on Material Requisition Slips (MRS) or job cards. Maintain proper documentation for all issued items, ensuring traceability and control. Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels and initiate replenishment requests as needed. Coordinate with the production team to understand consumption patterns and plan stock accordingly. 3. Outward Material Management Handle dispatches of finished goods, rejected materials, and returnable items. Maintain accurate records for outward gate passes, challans, and transporter details. Ensure proper packaging, documentation, and timely dispatch. 4. Inventory Control & Documentation Maintain up-to-date stock registers (physical and system-based) with accuracy. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verification. Reconcile discrepancies and prepare stock adjustment reports. Assist in internal and external audits with complete documentation. 5. Store Management & Compliance Implement 5S and safe storage practices within the store area. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper material stacking. Monitor shelf life/expiry of perishable items. Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory norms. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 25 years of relevant experience in store supervision in a manufacturing/engineering industry Skills & Competencies: Good understanding of mechanical parts, tools, and machine components Hands-on experience with ERP/inventory software (SAP, Tally, Zoho, etc.) Strong documentation and record-keeping skills Familiarity with inward/outward logistics and inventory cycle processes Good coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams Knowledge of safety standards and store audit practices Interested candidates send their resume to [HIDDEN TEXT] Show more Show less
