Outsource Services Lead

As an Outsourced Services Lead at Oxford University Press (OUP) in Noida, UP, you will be a key player in ensuring high-quality content creation through strategic supplier engagement. Your role involves managing the sourcing and contracting of third-party content creation services while ensuring compliance with OUP's governance policies. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute outsourcing activities using approved suppliers, monitor supplier performance, and maintain accurate documentation to track outsourcing activity, budgets, and contracts. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and quality of content delivery across OUP, supporting the production of approximately 1500 print and digital products annually and managing a supplier pool of around 1000 freelancers and vendors. The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, resourceful problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in publishing or a similar industry, familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, contract management, and third-party supplier engagement are essential requirements. Additionally, knowledge of the publishing lifecycle, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software, and a background or interest in English Language Teaching (ELT) are desirable qualifications.
