Job Overview Lead and oversee all operations at our Ship Construction Site (SCS) , overseeing the assembly, integration, and outfitting of ships and ship repair projects. Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery within budget, while upholding the highest Quality , safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all site operations: Shipbuilding, repair, engineering, outfitting, trials, and commissioning. Manage and mentor department heads across core functions (engineering, outfitting, electrical, hull, commissioning, dock operations). Plan, execute, and monitor shipbuilding and repair projects from start to finish, achieving set milestones and deadlines. Coordinate across departments to ensure effective use of resources, materials, and manpower. Drive compliance with safety and environmental regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001), conducting audits and mitigating risks. Core Requirements: Bachelors degree in mechanical, Marine, Industrial Engineering, or similar field; masters degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are an advantage. At least 15- 20 years experience in shipbuilding or engineering project management, with 5+ years at a senior management level. Proven track record leading large, complex engineering operations and multi-disciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of shipyard processes (fabrication, fitting, outfitting, commissioning).
