More about the role: Burson India is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our Mumbai team. As a Sales Intern, you will support the sales team in achieving their targets by assisting in lead generation, customer outreach, and sales process optimization. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in sales, customer relationship management, and exposure to industry best practices. What youll do: Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads through research and outreach. Support in preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients. Help maintain and update the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and potential customer segments. Engage in outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to prospects and clients. Assist in the preparation of sales reports and performance analytics. Assist in drafting proposals and sales documentation. Experience that contributes to success: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Strong interest in sales, customer service, and business development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead conversion. Accountable for SDR outbound campaign strategy, planning, and execution via email, cold calls, and social channels. Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in the CRM system. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings and opportunities Continuously improve sales and product knowledge to effectively communicate with prospects. Drafting professional emails & sales pitch for new outreach campaigns to collaborate with new & existing clients. Support Sales Leader in preparing for client meetings. What You Have Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to think critically and demonstrate a growth mindset. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
