Key Responsibilities Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance procedures across all production stages (fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing). Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards (Otto AGN, Inditex) and international regulations. Pre-Production & Inline Quality Control: Review tech packs, samples, and buyer comments before production. Conduct risk assessments and pre-production meetings with merchandising and production teams. Monitor inline inspections to identify defects early and ensure corrective actions are taken. Final Inspection & Compliance: Conduct AQL and final inspections as per buyer protocols. Ensure factory is audit-ready for buyer/third-party inspections. Maintain proper documentation and reports for quality records. Team Leadership & Training: Lead and supervise quality checkers, inline inspectors, and finishing QC team. Train teams on buyer quality requirements, workmanship standards, and inspection techniques. Foster a culture of zero-defect manufacturing . Buyer Interaction & Reporting: Act as key contact for buyers quality teams, addressing queries and ensuring corrective action. Prepare daily/weekly quality MIS reports for management and buyers. Ensure smooth communication between merchandising, production, and quality departments. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of hi-fashion women’s garment construction , fabrics, trims, and finishing. Hands-on expertise in Otto AGN and Inditex quality standards & compliance protocols . Proficiency in AQL standards, risk assessment, CAP (Corrective Action Plan), and root cause analysis . Leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills (English & Hindi; knowledge of German/Spanish will be an advantage). Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Textile / Apparel Technology / Fashion Technology or related field. 8–12 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in a Quality Manager role . Experience handling hi-fashion womenswear for European buyers (preferably Otto AGN, Inditex, H&M, etc.). Sound knowledge of social compliance, sustainability, and ethical manufacturing practices .

Job Discruption Prepare apparel production plans weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Responsible to meet the Weekly costing targets of Cutting , Stitching and Finishing department To prepare below plans weekly of each departments Pattern grading targets as per cutting plan Fabric issue weekly targets to cutting department Cutting plan Line wise Sewing Plans Finishing and shipment plan Additional operations plan Responsible to make sure the Sewing lines are efficiently run and to achieve minimum 60% Efficiency in line in order to meet the operator cost and not incur losses To work in coordination and on the floor with IE and line incharge to ensure lines are properly balanced To monitor output of checkers and each operator to evaluate each worker performance and hence take required decisions to either train or replace To keep a Birds Eye view of the production plan and styles to produce in next 2 months, hence getting team and departments well prepared for the same To track and receive material status against each order and monitor the progress of material received. To follow up and keep in close communication with merchandising team to take regular update on fabric and accessories hence making sure production plan target dates are matched up To coordinates with the quality manager so that defective or faulty goods are not produced and production is as per buyer needs and requirements To provide weekly job assignments to supervisors and other subordinates and track the same on daily basis to meet targets To ensures that the floor, machinery and equipments are well maintained as per companys norms to ensure productivity and effective as per targets To undertake continuous training of helpers and operators. To prepare a pre-production sample and compare with the originally approved sample well in time before production To ensure to pursue the right works, quality, and maintenance standards. To ensures that materials are organized at each stage of processing from accessory Store, Fabric, Cutting, stitching and Sewing department The production manager will make arrangements for the right line layout or machine layout. To organizes pre-production meetings or pre Production activity to discuss related issues. He monitors the progress of production against the production plan.
