This is a full-time on-site role for an OT Network Engineer located in Chennai. As an OT Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include network administration, network engineering, troubleshooting, network security, and network design. You will manage and maintain firewall configurations, ensure network security, perform network audits, and optimize network performance. Collaboration with the IT team is essential to support and enhance the overall network infrastructure. Your role will involve assessing, auditing, recommending, designing, documenting, and improving security solutions and processes for industrial and manufacturing process and control network environments. Working closely with product development, service teams, and product managers is crucial to achieve positive security outcomes. Collaborating with the OT Manufacturing team will be necessary to develop intrusion and prevention processes, techniques, and solutions. You will be responsible for implementing security architecture, methods, and controls required to meet industry standards, compliance, audit, and regional regulatory requirements. Responding to and resolving or escalating security incidents when appropriate is part of your duties. Developing and maintaining documentation for security systems and operational procedures is essential for this role. To succeed in this position, you should have experience in OT/ICS or industrial environments, understanding the unique challenges encountered within critical infrastructure or OT/ICS environments. Previous roles in system/network administration, engineering, OT security analysis, or operations will be beneficial. A solid understanding of networking and computer systems architecture is required, and you should be capable of conducting technical security assessments. Moreover, familiarity with processes and procedures for deploying/implementing infrastructure projects such as data centers, corporate settings, financial institutions, or industrial environments is essential. Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, IoT Security, Network Vlan, and Routing will be advantageous for this role.
