As an Associate Legal at Godrej Industries Group (GIG) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, you will play a crucial role in the Corporate Legal function of the organization. You will collaborate with business and other teams to gather necessary information and documents on behalf of the Legal team. Additionally, you will be involved in drafting legal notices and replies, power of attorneys, affidavits, as well as assisting in industry association related work and maintaining a digital database. The key skills required for this role involve proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and commercial documents, providing advice on operational and compliance matters, and coordinating effectively with internal teams. Furthermore, you will be responsible for knowledge management, including updating stakeholders on legal developments. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Law and possess 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
